Welcome to the Random Sample Voting Simulator.
This simulator allows you to test the results of random sampling on different populations, check how representative the system is, and verify that it gives the same result as a referendum (or election) on multiple historic votes.
Three versions are featured:
- a simple simulator lets you choose the opinions of the population as a whole and check whether a sample agrees with the general population, for different sample sizes.
- the second simulator allows you to compare the results of previous elections with RSV.
- finally, the advanced simulator gives you access to all options and lets you tinker with the system.
The source code is available here, and can run on your computer without internet access.
